The Savior Home was established in 1989 at the time of His Excellency Bishop Lutfi Lahham the Patriarchal Vicar in Jerusalem. (At present His Beatitude Patriarch Gregorios III Lahham).

 It was established to enable the Theology students to continue their high education and get the bachelor degree in philosophy and theology and to get ready for getting Prieshood sacrament but because of the second uprising in 2000 , the students of Galeel and Jordan were unable to come here so it was over.

 In 2002 , some maintainance was done to change it into pilgrims House.
At the time of Fr. John Nachoul , 25 rooms were completely prepared for the pilgrims from inside and outside the country.

The Guesthouse has certain qualities:
1. It’s 1 ½ Km far from the Nativity Church.
2. It’s 200m far from the bus-station.
3. There’s a small church inside it.
4. A wonderful garden.
5. Each room has its own facilities.
6. A comfortable and wide room for meetings.
7. Workshop facilites.
8. Reception of 24 hours.
9. Spiritual retreat facilities.
